Green Bay Packers Lead New Orleans Saints at Halftime

The Green Bay Packers have opened up a 21 to 14 lead on the New Orleans Saints with the game at halftime.

Aaron Rodgers has completed 17 of 22 pass attempts for 165 yards and three touchdowns during the first half. Aaron Rodgers has completed passes to seven different Green Bay Packer receivers and running backs. The running attack for the Packers is being lead by Cedric Benson who has gained 51 yards on 11 rushes. The rest of the Green Bay Packers offensive backs have gained twelve yards for a first half total of 63 yards on the ground.

The Green Bay Packer defense has given up 195 yards passing, which is already more then they have been giving up per game. However, the Packer defense have limited the New Orleans Saints to just 16 yards rushing during the first half.

Green Bay will need to keep the offensive unit scoring points to keep ahead of the Saints in the second half.
